Luke 19:28-40

The disciples cried out, “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!  Peace in heaven and glory in the highest heaven!”  Jesus was asked to order them to stop.  “The stones would shout out,” he responds.  As disciples we are called to proclaim the peace and glory we know through Jesus.  We are to witness to our faith, even when those around us want us to be silent.  Is it our job to drown out all other voices, or is it, perhaps, to make sure that our convictions are clear and known?  Is there a difference?  What will it mean to praise God and celebrate Jesus this week in the midst of jelly beans and Easter bunnies?
