John 20:1-18
What does resurrection mean to you today? Where have you seen the power of resurrection in your life? Have you witnessed the power of healing community? Have you seen God’s Spirit at work restoring relationships? Have you felt the presence of Christ in the cries of those who long for justice and peace? Have you experienced Christ in your life when you have needed to give or receive love, forgiveness, and hope? Easter is a proclamation of the living Christ among us, and a commission to go and tell others what we have experienced. We celebrate so much more than a resuscitation today – we celebrate resurrection – the powerful, death-denying, eternal presence of God’s love in our lives and in the world!
