“The Things God Does for Love”
Love makes us do crazy things. I remember being in middle school, languishing from a ‘crush’ on a girl in my class. There was a song on the radio in those days called “The Things We Do for Love.” It felt to me, whenever I heard that song and thought about that girl, that I’d do just about anything for love. What does God feel so deeply about humanity, and what does God do? The Psalmist lists the things God does for love. Spoiler alert: Isaiah and Jesus say the same things about God. Maybe they’re true!! How can we share in these things as followers of Jesus?
