Sometimes a song says things so well…
Just as Revelation envisions God’s presence among people as a sign of the fulfillment of God’s promises, we frequently express a longing for and acknowledgement of God’s presence with us in the midst of our everyday lives. We imagine a world that can be while we face the world that is. The visions we share, the world for which we long, help to determine how we will respond to the world in which we live. In our songs, poems, hopes, dreams, and frustrations, we struggle to make meaning and share our faith and hope.
