“A HI-SEAS IV Church: (Living the Promise Now)”
Isaiah 65:17-25
Someday… Someday I’ll eat well, clean my room, spend more time with my family, finish my book… Someday people will live justly, honor God and one another, and live in peace. If we believe this vision from Isaiah 65 is truly God’s intention for humanity, why not start now? After all – what if “someday” comes and we’re not prepared for it and we don’t even recognize it?
Can you imagine saying “someday I’ll be an Olympic gymnast” (or anything else, for that matter), and never actually working toward that goal, never living as a gymnast lives?
The journey is long and the destination is strange and wonderful. We can prepare and participate by living into the destination now.
