You may not be aware that WGCC volunteers perform a vital Food Bank delivery run from the St. Louis Area Food Bank to two of our Mission Partners every month:
*Memorial Boulevard Christian Church has a food pantry that runs year round.
*Webster Rock Hill Ministries has a food pantry that runs year round.
The Saint Louis Area Food Bank provides much of the food for the MBCC and WRHM food pantries.
Webster Groves Christian Church helps with the transportation of the food from the SLAFB to the MBCC food pantry and to the WRHM food pantry. The monthly food bank run generally takes place on the second Thursday of the calendar month and involves transporting a ton or two or three of food.
