Sunday’s Moment for Mission at worship will focus on the WGCC Legacy Fund, the church’s permanent endowment.
Everyone can help grow the fund by supporting the “Legacy Hearts” campaign, January 18-through February 8. We can contribute to the fund in small-or large-ways by honoring or recognizing individuals or families with financial gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, for any special occasion…or just because.
Donations begin at $5. Gifts may be made “in honor of” or “in memory of” individuals or families—donor’s choice. The honorees’ names will be written on the hearts and displayed in the church throughout the campaign.
For a gift of $25 or more, a Valentine card will be sent, if the donor wishes, to the person being honored.
Any size gift may be accepted and recognized.
A table will be set up in the hallway for individuals wanting to make donations to “buy” paper hearts.
The WGCC Legacy Fund is composed of gifts over the years to the church by those who have gone before to build WGCC into the loving, caring church it is. Income from the Legacy Fund helps support the mission and ministry of this congregation. In the past fiscal year, almost $70,000 was drawn for the mission and ministry of the church.
