Jeremiah 1:4-10
“Who’s Putting Words in Your Mouth?”
Okay – maybe you’re not called to be the next Jeremiah. Maybe I’m not either. However – we are all called to receive the message God has for us and proclaim it to the world in word and deed. Jeremiah felt unprepared – underqualified. God knew better. God knew Jeremiah, and in fact, always had. Does God have a purpose for you? What if the next time you prepared to open your mouth you asked yourself what God wants to say through you? Here’s the thing: If people know you’re a disciple of Jesus, then every time you open your mouth, they’re hearing something about the God in whom you believe. What would you like them to know? What would God like them to know?
