Matthew 18:15-20   (with reference to Mt 9:9-13, Mt 6:9-15)

“Relationship, Relationship, Relationship”

Here in Matthew’s gospel we have directions for life in the church.  Unfortunately, sometimes we’ve ignored or misinterpreted this passage.  By the time we reach chapter 18 Matthew has already offered us precepts for these procedures:  What we do in the here and now has far-reaching implications.  God’s will should be our focus.  People are important enough to invest our time and effort in their lives.  Outsiders are always potential insiders.  Can we really live this way?  How?  What’s stopping us?
