2 Corinthians 13:11-14

Paul calls the Corinthians, and us, to live lives of discipleship – lives of compassion through which we share in relationships of care. What does it mean (as the English Standard Version translates Paul’s words) to “aim for restoration”? Our Disciples tradition arises out of the 18th-19th century “restoration” movement. Can we look forward to what God calls us to be as we aim for restoration?
